The Mountain Runway from Jack Wolfskin is the lightest hiking shoe in the range, with a combination of materials specifically selected for weight-optimization, the MOUNTAIN RUNWAY bridges the gap between the hiking shoe and the trail running shoe.

The main fabric used for the uppers is the same breathable AIR FLOW MESH found on the trail running shoes, with a framework of synthetic nubuck providing the necessary stability.

The ROCKWAVE sole also fits the lightweight criteria, in addition to being exceptionally flexible and providing superb cushioning.

To help protect the shoe from the rigours of off-trail terrain, the heel and toe caps have an abrasion resistant coating.
